Unity Coalition|Coalición Unida’s 4th ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
Benefiting Needy Children and those Living with HIV/AIDS -Joins forces with
the CLÁSICA 92 FM Family

                                             Miami, Fl… Unity Coalition|Coalición Unida and Club Azúcar recently
                                             hosted a star-studded event to welcome the Clásica 92 FM family,
                                              including radio & TV comedy personalities Gilberto Reyes y Miguelito
                                              Gonzalez - "Los Fonomemecos" – as official Godparents for the 4th
                                           ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE Benefiting Needy Children and those Living
                                              with HIV/AIDS. “Unity Coalition|Coalición Unida is thrilled in welcoming
                                                      Clásica 92FM and Los Fonomemecos to this years Toy Drive Effort.
                                                         It is an ideal partnership ” said UC Toy Drive co-chairman, Ron
                                                              Brenesky.

                                                              “We admire the work Unity Coalition does in fighting
                                                                discrimination and helping children in need, and are proud
                                                                 to be involved in the 2008 Toy Drive” said Ana de Moya-Levy,
                                                                 Manager of Office Affairs & Executive Assistant to Vice
                                                              President/General Manager of Miami Radio Stations WCMQ
                                                             -FM, WXDJ-FM, WRMA-FM & WRAZ-FM. “The Clásica 92 family
                                                          challenges all in the community to become involved in this
                                              great project and do all they can to help raise funds and donations for
                                       this years UC Toy Drive” added Moya-Levy.

Unity Coalition/Coalición Unida is a leading Latino/Hispanic gay civil-rights nonprofit initiative, offering
leadership on issues that concern Latino/Hispanic LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) and other
minority groups across the U.S., is once again proud to lead the community efforts for its ANNUAL TOY
DRIVE, Benefiting Needy Children and those Living with HIV/AIDS. To date, UC has presented over 10,000
new toys, clothing and
various other gifts to children across South Florida,
the Dominican Republic & Honduras. “This years
goal is of 5,000 toys & gifts. We will work hard to
achieve this for the children, starting with a big
effort at our Halloween Party at Azúcar” said UC
Toy Drive co-chair & Club Azucar Owner Arturo
Alvarez.
Collection and distribution of toys for needy South
Florida and Caribbean communities will once
again be overseen by Unity Coalition, along with
return sponsors AMBIENTE Magazine and Club
Azúcar. Various other individuals and organizations
have already committed their efforts to this
important community project, led by UC Toy Drive
committee organizers Arturo Alvarez & Ron Brenesky.

This years toy drive drop off locations and event schedules will be announced via Clásica 92 FM
programming, Ambiente Magazine UC website & various other community events, including two parties –
one in November and the last on the December 17. "We hope that the support of the LGBT community
continues to grow for the common of helping children in need. No other event is as close and near our
hearts at UC as is the TOY DRIVE" said Brenesky. “Together we must support and reach out to the
community. The LGBT community is caring one and understands that the future belongs to the children. We
invite the community to contact Unity Coalition, donate a new, unwrapped, non-violent toy or cash donation, &
help make a child’s Holiday a little brighter!” added Brenesky.
