Australian gay swimmer to be underwear model

Sydney-In the weeks following the completion of
the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, sports fans of
LGBT people began to wonder if the gay Australian
diver and gold medal winner Matthew Mitcham
could get some kind of sponsorhip at a national
level. According to a report published on
SameSame.com.au, Mitcham would is ready to
show his Australian ass.

Mitcham, the only openly gay athlete who
participated in the Olympic Games in Beijing, will
soon become the new posterboy for aussieBum, a
company of underwear and swimwear founded by
Sean Ashby in Sydney in 2001.

Ashby said that the iconic gay brand receives an
estimated one thousand orders per day and that
the company very fond of Mitcham, an Australian
who chose to believe in itself.

The news of the new sponsorship of Mitcham
comes after the announcement that he would be
hired by Grand Slam International (GSI), a sports
management company that also represents the
popular Australian swimmers Ian Thorpe and Leisel
Jones.

David Flask, director of GSI, said "Matthew is an extraordinary young athlete whose participation in Beijing
was impeccable. It was handled with great modesty and professionalism. In light of his success he has won
the affection for all Australians."

Mitcham won the gold medal in the 10-meter competition at the Olympic Games in Beijing. This victory made
him the only overseas athlete to take a gold medal in diving.

acuerdo a un reporte publicado en el sitio web SameSame.com.au, Mitcham estaría listo para mostrar su
trasero australiano.

SameSame.com.au ha reportado que Mitcham, el único deportista abiertamente gay que participó en los
Juegos Olímpicos de Beijing, pronto se convertirá en el nuevo modelo de aussieBum, una empresa de ropa
interior y trajes de baño fundada por Sean Ashby de Sydney en el año 2001.

Ashby contó al sitio web que la icónica marca gay recibe un estimado de mil pedidos por día y que la
compañía tiene en muy alta estima a Mitcham, "un australiano que eligió creer en sí mismo".

La noticia del nuevo esponsoreo de Mitcham llega luego del anuncio de que estaría por ser contratado por
