My girlfriend is sleeping with a girl she works with and it’s breaking my heart
In the last month she’s spent 17 nights with her and each night I’ve cried myself to
sleep.
I love her so much but when I tell her how much this is torturing me she just brushes
me aside and tells me not to be so stupid.
She insists that I’ve got nothing to worry about and that her lover isn’t a threat to our
relationship.
But I can’t bear the thought of them together, wrapped in each other’s arms and
enjoying each other.
She tells me that it’s just a fling and all her friends are having lesbian lovers.
I don’t believe that for a moment and she also says that because her lover is female it
“doesn’t count” as cheating.
As far as I’m concerned, cheating is cheating and it’s destroying me.
When she came home the other day she had a massive bag full of lesbian love toys –
vibrators, gels, oils and all sorts of gadgets.

Your girlfriend is wrong to say that because her lover is a woman it’s not cheating.
Of course it is and if she can’t see how much she’s hurting you, then it’s clear that your
relationship is at rock bottom.
You might love her to bits but if she now has someone else that she’s intimate with then no
amount of your love will change things.
She’s made up her mind that she wants an affair and is justifying it by saying all her friends
are doing the same.
That’s rubbish. She’s doing it because she wants to. Unfortunately, the great relationship
you once had is over. Someone else is taking your place as her lover for more than half the
month.
She’s moved on and although she may be too much of a coward to admit that she no longer
loves you, you can’t allow her to make such a fool of you. Tell her that her affair is insulting
and unfair and that you have your limits.
Explain that you’ve reached the end of the line and you are not going to put up with her
cheating any more.
Then it’s really down to her own choice.
She will have to decide whether to stay with you or go off with her lesbian lover.
