THE GYPSY TEA SHOP is proud to be a participant in MOCA’S “BOHEMIAN
BASH”, which is being held on February 20, 2010 between 8:00 p.m. and 12:
00 p.m. at the museum ( 770 NE 125th Street, North Miami, (305) 893-
6211, and www.mocanomi.org . We will be displaying items that are
representative of the store as well as tarot card readers and an item for the
“silent auction”. All proceeds benefit MOCA’s Permanent Collection and
Programs.

we serve best “good vibes”!

Nestled within Miami’s newest renaissance area, NOMI, is a true treasure, THE GYPSY
TEA SHOP. Part antique store, part museum and all history, it is the creation of GEO
DARDER. After a lifetime of collecting art, memorabilia and curiosities from Cuba,
Brazil and America, Geo has finally placed his collection under one roof and opened
THE GYPSY TEA SHOP. It is a store that sells antiques, collectibles, the uniquely odd
and the oddly obscure. But it is far more than a store; it is a whimsical, mystical and
spiritual environment that offers rare, one of a kind items that conjures up memories of
a time in history that people miss and desire to reconnect with.

Our motto is “serving good vibes” says DARDER. “ I have a strong
spiritual attraction to ceremonies and cultural traditions and my
store is a reflection of that“. People initially come in to shop, but no
one leaves after they make their purchase, they seem to linger,
soaking in the ambiance. More than just a merchant, GEO is more
of a “spiritual guide” with the ability to tune into what would be of
interest to each special customer.
